Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A350 Western Way (Part), Melksham and Melksham Without from its roundabout junction with Semington Road to its roundabout junction with A365 to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, replacement of road markings, adjustment of ironworks and associated works. Alternative route via A365 - C382 - C502 - A3102 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 24 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 01 December 2022. This Order will come into operation on 21 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 5 days. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C) Hartham Lane (Part), Corsham; from its junction with Hartham Park for a distance of approximately 35m in a northerly direction to enable Chevon TM to carry out wall repairs and other associated works. Alternative route via Hartham Lane (unaffected length) - A4 - C86 - C179 - The Butts - Hartham Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 31 October 2022 and the closure will be required until 04 November 2022. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that on 19 October 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Bratton) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 2008 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Bury Lane, Court Lane, Lower Road, Pear Tree Orchard, Rosenheim Rise - the complete lengths; Lower Westbury Road - from its junction with Court Lane for approximately 139 metres in a westerly direction; Trowbridge Road - from its junction with Lower Road for a distance of approximately 218 metres in a northerly direction. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 31 October 2022.
