Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U91621, Lane From Turn Farm Lingen To Junction For Lower Willey, Lingen, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U91621, Lane From Turn Farm Lingen To Junction For Lower Willey, Lingen, between Turn Farm and Lealands Cottage. Grid Ref: 336022 / 267260. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Willey Lane onto the C1004 via Stapleton onto Letchmoor Lane onto the C1007 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of November 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 10 days.
