NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER ROAD
TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14
FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 8 IN THE COMMUNITY OF HIGHER KINNERTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2020
The above Order came into force from the 26th October 2020 for a period of 6 months, until and including 25th April 2021, the order has since been extended with the approval of the welsh government until and including 25th October 2022. Notice is now hereby given that the said Order made by Flintshire County Council on the 21st October 2020 is hereby extended with the approval of the Welsh Government and will continue in force until and including 25th April 2023, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The effect of the Order is that no person shall proceed in using that section of Public Footpath No.8 in the Community of Higher Kinnerton from its junction with Lower Mountain Road, Pen y Ffordd, at NGR 33104 36227 to its junction with Hulleys Close, Pen y Ffordd, at NGR 33067 36239.
The reason for the continued closure is for Health and Safety reasons during development works to negate the likelihood of danger to the public. The developer has made a route available along the above closure save for the below mentioned section of footpath which will remain closed due to works:
That section of Public Footpath No. 8 in the Community of Higher Kinnerton from its junction with Lower Mountain Road, Pen y Ffordd, at NGR 33104 36227 to its junction with Rhodfa Gladstone, part of the new Redrow estate, Pen y Ffordd, at NGR 33079 36237 There is no alternative route available. NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 VARIOUS ROADS IN FLINTSHIRE VARIOUS
Flintshire County Council has made an Order which will prohibit any vehicles from proceeding in any of the following roads:
1. A541 Denbigh Road, between its junctions with B5122 Caerwys Hill and B5121 Lixwm Hill - Afonwen;
2. A541 Denbigh Road, between its junctions with B5121 Lixwm Hill and Star Crossing - Nannerch;
3. A541 Denbigh Road, between its junctions with Star Crossing and access road to The Nant - Hendre;
4. A541 Denbigh Road, between its junctions with access road to The Nant Access Road and B5123 Rhosesmor Road -Rhydymywyn
The reason for the closures is to facilitate Tree Felling and associated works by Flintshire County Council. The alternative routes for vehicles will be advertised on site by the use of prescribed signs.
The Order comes into force on the 29th October 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter. It is anticipated that the roads will be closed for 4 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. A B/FCC (TTRO) 044668.

NOTICE OF MAKING
THE FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (WREXHAM ROAD, PENYFFORDD)
(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that on the 25th October 2022, Flintshire County Council made an Order, under Section 1 (1) (d) and (f) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be: 1. To prohibit any vehicle except pedal cyclists to drive through Wrexham Road, Penyffordd.
For the purposes of this Order, 'Wrexham Road' - Shall mean the service road that runs parallel with the A550 Wrexham Road, Penyffordd.
A copy of the Order, which comes into force on the 30th October 2022, together with a plan showing the length of road to which the Order relates and a statement of the Council's reasons for the making of the Order may be examined at Flintshire Connects, Mold Library, Earl Road Mold CH7 1AP during office hours or they may be may be viewed on our website at

THE FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME AND COACH PARKING EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2022
Notice is hereby given that on the 25th October 2022, Flintshire County Council made an Experimental Order in exercise of its powers under Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to:
1. Suspend the 'Waiting Limited to 1 hour. Return prohibited within 1 hour, 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday restrictions, on Service Road 2 (North Side), County Hall, Mold contained within the 'The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013'
2. Introduce 'Coach Parking Only' restrictions on Service Road 2 (North Side), County Hall, Mold.
3. Introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions in New Street Car Park.
In all other respects the present provisions of the 'The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013' will remain in force.

The Council will be considering, in due course, whether the provisions of the Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Within a period of 6 months from the coming into force of the Order, or if the Order is subsequently modified or varied, from the coming into operation of that modification or the variation (whichever is the latest), any person may object to the making of the Order for the purposes of such indefinite continuation.
Objections to the Order, together with the grounds on which they are made, should be sent in writing to the undersigned within six months of the date on which this Order shall have come into force, or the date on which any variation or modification or the latest variation or modification shall have come into force and quoting the reference SS/TRO/JB/49/EO/2022. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Experimental Order (which was made on the 25th October 2022) or any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the appropriate legislation, or on the grounds that any requirement of such legislation, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the 25th October 2022, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
