(Radford Way, and Radford Crescent, (Billericay Round Table) (Special Events) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that Essex County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), has made the above Order to facilitate the Billericay Round Table Fireworks Event.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon, as specified: Road Description

Radford Way From its junction with Mountnessing Road Roundabout to
its junction with the B1007 Stock Road, for its entire length. Radford Crescent From its junction with Radford Way, for its entire length.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 05 November 2022 for 1 day between the hours of 19:45 and 21:30 or where appropriate signs are showing, and weather permitting and is required for the safety of the spectators of the event.
The alternative route will be via the B1007 Stock Road, Billericay High Street, Perry Street, and Mountnessing Road and vice versa. Pedestrian access to premises will be permitted throughout the closure. Access to Emergency Services will be permitted at all times. The Order will come into effect on 05 November 2022 and may continue in force for 3 days unless extended by the Secretary of State.

(Cricketers Way, Nevendon) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of Cricketers Way, Nevendon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 25m northeast of its junction with Fenners Way for a distance of approximately 165m in a northeasterly direction.

"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The restriction is scheduled to commence on 21st November 2022 for 33 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001189691 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

The Order will come into effect on 3rd November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Louis Drive East, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Louis Drive East, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with London Road to its end a distance of approximately 245m.

2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restrition in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.

"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st November 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2335363 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via London Road Service Road West, Alexandria Drive, Louis Drive and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 3rd November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Winterswyk Avenue, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Winterswyk Avenue, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 20m north west of its junction with Corsel Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th January 2023 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (VS030PIV-2706A - Energetics Gas Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Energetics Gas Limited.

An alternative route is available via Corsel Road, High Street, Baardwyk Avenue and vice versa with access only into Winterswyk Avenue. The Order will come into effect on 3rd November 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 695m north west then west of its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 225m in a westerly then south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st October 2022 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231007701 - Henderson & Taylor). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while jetting and gully works are undertaken by Henderson & Taylor.

An alternative route is available via Church Road, Chelmsford Road, Rawreth Lane, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, London Road, Old London Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 20th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 55m south of its junction with Station Approach for a distance of approximately 45m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th November 2022 for 24 hours (01:00-01:00) and again on 27th November 2022 for 24 hours (01:00-01:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL738TLL0-32-23-061122 & KL738TLL0-32-23-271122 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead electric cable works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. No alternative route is available.

The Order came into effect on 20th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
