Minor Parking Amendments Various Roads In The Borough

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 26 October 2022 made the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

* The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No. 8) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Southfields) (Parking Places) (No. 4) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Town) (Parking Places) (No. 5) Order 2022

*The Wandsworth (Battersea Park) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2022 

* The Wandsworth (St John's Hill) (Parking Places) (No. 2) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Clapham South & Balham) (Parking Places) (No. 3) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Earlsfield) (Parking Places) (No. 3) Order 2022

* The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 627) Order 2022.

The general effect of the Orders would be to make certain changes to parking arrangements, as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice,

Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders which come into operation on 31 October 2022 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE





Blandfield Road



To remove 5.8 metres of existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and extend existing permit holders only parking place outside No. 53 Blandfield Road




Combemartin Road



To remove a redundant section of waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and install a permit holder (Zone S4) only parking bay outside No.40 Combemartin Road.




Crestway



To install the ‘At Any Time’ (AAT) waiting restriction, marked as double yellow lines, at the junction with Sunnymead Road. To convert the existing single yellow line at the junction with Dover Park Drive to double yellow lines and to install the AAT waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) opposite No.1 Crestway




Linstead Way



To install 23.7 metres of ‘At Any Time’ (AAT) waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) adjacent to Andrew Reed House.




Lockington Road



To re-designate five metres of single yellow line to a solo motorcycle parking with security ground anchors, re-designate 25 metres of a shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bay to permit (B) only parking bay and "At Any Time" waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines).








Merton Road



To re-designate 8 metres of shared use bay (part) to a solo motorcycle parking bay with security ground anchors to deter theft, outside No.198 Merton Road.




Ruvigny Gardens



To install two small sections of AAT waiting restriction (marked as double yellow lines) on the bends in the carriageway outside No.20 and No.11 Ruvigny Gardens.








Spencer Park



To remove two metres of an existing parking bay and extend existing waiting restrictions (marked as single yellow line) outside No. 4 Spencer Park.




Tranmere Road



To remove 10.6 metres of existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) and extend existing shared use parking place at the side of No. 263 Magdalen Road.








Westleigh Avenue



To remove the shared-use (permit (A3-A0) / pay and display) parking bay and to extend the existing waiting restriction (marked as single yellow line) adjacent to Balmoral Close
