Somerset County Council Somerset West and Taunton District Parish of Wiveliscombe Temporary Closure of Ford Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ford Road - from 42 metres north of of the junction with Burges Lane, northwards for a distance of 1367 metres. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution to carry out tree cutting works. The Order becomes effective on 27th October 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 2nd November 2022 and last until 2nd November 2022 between the hours of 09:00 -16:00 for a total of 7 hours. Please visit
