Parish of West Buckland Temporary Closure of Sawyers Hill

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Sawyers Hill - 37 metres west from the junction with West Buckland Road westwards for a total distance of 38 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out relining works on apparatus. The Order becomes effective on 27th October 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 1st November 2022 and last until 3rd November 2022 between the hours of 08:00 -18:00 for a total of 3 days. Please visit
