The County Council of Durham (Saddlers Lane (access road to Woolworths
yard), Durham City) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 21/10/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on 25 metres of Saddlers Lane (access road to Woolworths yard), Durham City from junction Saddler Street in a westerly direction to enable water main repair works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, no alternative diversion is available to pedestrian traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 31/10/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 1 day. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
