NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6,45,46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers, and implement footway parking places under the GLC General Powers Act 1974.

The effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) introduce/extend/fomalise waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) introduce free parking places, located partially on the footway, as set out the Schedule to this Notice;

(c) convert existing waiting restrictions operating between 8am and 8.30pm throughout the week to operating at any time in Copers Cope Road, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(d) relocate a disabled bay in Bruce Grove from opposite Nos. 1 and 3 Bruce Grove to outside No. 2c Bruce Grove, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(e) relocate a shared use parking place bay in Bruce Grove from opposite Nos. 1 and 3 Bruce Grove to opposite No. 6 Bruce Grove, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(f) convert existing waiting restrictions operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive on both sides of Edward Road, Biggin Hill, at its junction with Anerley Road to operating at any time, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(g) convert existing waiting restrictions operating between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive outside No. 2 Blackbrook Lane to operating at any time, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(h) convert existing waiting restrictions operating between 8.00am and 6.30pm throughout the week in sections of Copers Cope Road to waiting and loading restrictions operating at any time, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(i) remove 4m of the existing permit holder parking place in Rochester Avenue outside No. 49 Rochester Avenue and replace it with waiting restrictions operating at zone hours, as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.
Copies of the proposed Orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be made available by emailing traffic@bromley.gov.uk during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/731 not later than 16th November 2022.

Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
