Various Roads, Bridgwater in the Parishes of Puriton, Bawdrip, Woolavington, East Huntspill and West Huntspill
(Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that on the 21st day of October 2022 Somerset County Council made the above Order in exercise of the provisions of Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 11th day of October 2022, to introduce temporary traffic restrictions on the roads specified in the Schedules below.

This Order will come into operation on 25th day of October 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The Works are expected to commence on the 31st day of October 2022 until the 23rd day of November 2022 (between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours) to enable Kays Highways to carry out carriageway works for Euro Garage Development at Dunball. The restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

From the junction with Downend Road in a southerly direction to the Dunball Roundabout

Temporary Suspension of 18 Tonne Weight Limit
Woolavington Hill, Bridgwater For its entire length
Lockswell, Bridgwater For its entire length
The Causeway, Bridgwater For its entire length
Church Road, Bridgwater For its entire length

Schedule 3
Temporary Suspension of 16.5 Tonne Weight Limit
Withy Road, Bridgwater For its entire length

Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
