The Harrow, Waiting and Loading Restrictions

London Borough of Harrow The Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Amendment No. 120) Traffic Order 2022 The Harrow (Loading Places) (Amendment No. 5) Traffic Order 2022

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Harrow on 17 October 2022 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order will be further to amend the Harrow (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2014 so that:

a. waiting by vehicles (including for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be prohibited between 7a.m to 10a.m. and 4p.m. to 7p.m Monday to Sunday in the length of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice;

b. waiting by vehicles (other than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) will be prohibited between midnight to 7a.m., 10a.m. to 4p.m. and 7p.m. to midnight Monday to Sunday in the length of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. The general effect of the Loading Places Order will be to designate a loading place to operate between midnight to 7a.m., 10a.m. to 4p.m. and 7p.m. to midnight Monday to Sunday in the length of High Street, Wealdstone specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on

31 October 2022, of a map of the relevant area, of relevant previous Orders and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders can be inspected at Greenhill Library, Perceval Square, College Road, Harrow, HA1 1GX between 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 3pm Sunday.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
