The County of Dorset (A351, Swanage and Langton Matravers) (30mph Speed Limit) (No 1) Order 2022

Dorset County Council has made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and 124(1) (d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

When the Order comes into operation on the 1st November 2022 the effect of the order will be to revoke the current 40mph limit on a section of the A351 and in its place extend the existing 30mph limit just west of the Swanage school entrance to a point approximately 207 meters west of its junction with the B3069 to Langton Matravers. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on
the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument
made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six
weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for that purpose.
