Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Bass Lane, Summerseat, Bury) Temporary Closure Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-Bass Lane, Summerseat, Bury - full length The reason for the proposed order is to clean & jet beany blocks. The alternative route will be via A56 Manchester Rd, Bury New Rd, Peel Brow, Bridge St, A676 Bolton St, Bolton Rd West, Longsight Rd, Newcombe Rd, Waterside Rd, Kay St, Pollards Lane, Cliff Avenue and Crag Lane & vice-versa. The Order comes into operation on Monday 24 October 2022 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, although the anticipated duration of the works is 1 week. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury has made this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-Bloomfield Dr, Bury - Temp Rd Closure. The closure is in place to enable re-surface treatment to road. Diversion route is non applicable. Access maintained for residents. The proposed Order comes into operation on 24/10/22 and remains in force for up to 3 months (anticipated duration of works - 2 weeks) 20/10/22
