Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Buttermarket St (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022

Notice is hereby given
that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Buttermarket St from its jct. with Orford St to its jct. with Academy St. The Order will be effective from 6th November 2022 for 2 days, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Mersey St, Bank St & Academy Way & via Academy St & Mersey St. The closure is required to allow for the demolition of New Town House.

A574 Warrington Rd, Church Ln & Charnock Rd (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2022


The effect of which is as follows: Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: A574 Warrington Rd from its jct. with Culcheth Hall Dr to its jct. with Common Ln; Prohibition of Driving:
Church Ln from its jct. with the A574 Warrington Rd for a distance of approx. 20m in a south easterly direction; Charnock Rd from its jct. with the A574 Warrington Rd for a distance of approx. 20m in a south easterly direction. The Order will be effective from 24th October 2022 for 5 days, between 7pm & 6am, as & when signed on site. The alternative routes will be; A574 Warrington Rd via Warrington Rd, East Lancashire Rd, Newton Rd, Winwick Ln, Winwick Link Rd, Newton Rd, Winwick Rd, Lythgoes Ln, Manchester Rd, Woolston Grange Ave, Birchwood Way, Birchwood Park Avenue, Warrington Rd & vice versa; Church Ln via Church Ln, Shaw St & vice versa. The restrictions are required for Highway improvement works, carriageway resurfacing & road markings. Ref: High/2394

Cockhedge Way & Orford St (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Cockhedge Way from its jct. with Scotland Rd to its jct. with Orford St; Orford St from its jct. with Cockhedge Way to its jct. with Buttermarket St. The Order will be effective from 30th October 2022 for 2 days, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Academy St, Mersey St, Fennel St & Brick St. The closure is required to allow for the demolition of New Town House.

Dallam Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Dallam Ln between its jct. with Owen St & its jct. with Buckley St. The Order will be effective from 8th November 2022 for 5 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Folly Ln, Kerfoot St, Winwick Rd, Pinners Brow, Winwick St, Tanners Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to install electrical cables for the new bus depot. Ref: High/2400

Padgate Ln Passageway rear of 138 to 186 (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Padgate Ln Passageway rear of 138 to 186 between its jct. with Oakwood Ave & its jct. with Briarwood Ave. The Order will be effective from 7th November 2022 for 1 week, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Oakwood Ave, Padgate Ln & Briarwood Ave & via Briarwood Ave & Oakwood Ave. The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out sewer repairs.

Southern St (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Southern St from its jct. with Kimberley Dr to its jct. with Hawthorne Rd. The Order will be effective from 17th November 2022 for 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Kimberley Dr, Walton Rd, Hawthorne Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Openreach to replace a telegraph pole. Ref: High/2401

White St (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on White St between its jct. with Dixon St & its jct. with Parker St. The Order will be effective from 7th November 2022 for 34 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Dixon St, Sankey St & Parker St. The closure is required to allow for the safe unloading of materials required for the construction of new properties for Warrington Housing Association. Charles Ave & Wilmot Ave, Sankey (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
Notice is hereby given
that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 15th September 2022. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving as follows: Charles Ave from its jct. with Wilmot Ave to its jct. with Cedar Rd; Wilmot Ave from its jct. with Charles Ave to its jct. with Halton Rd. The Order was to be effective from 26th September 2022 for 2 weeks, however due to delays on site the closure on Wilmot Ave will remain in place for a further 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised. Ref: High/2381

Cherry Ln, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving & Suspension) Temporary Order 2022 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 1st September 2022. The effect of which is as follows: Prohibition of Driving: Cherry Ln from its jct. with Booths Ln to its jct. with Booths Hill Rd; Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Various Roads) (Consolidation of One-Way Traffic) Order 1976 in so far as it relates to the Second Schedule as follows: Cherry Ln,
Lymm (B5158) from Booths Hill Rd (A56) to Elm Tree Rd.
The Order was to be effective from 5th September 2022 for 7 weeks, however due to delays on site the restrictions
are now required to remain in place for a further 5 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised.

The Borough of Warrington (Westy) (Low Traffic Neighbourhood) (Traffic Management Scheme) Experimental (Amendment No. 1) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given
that on 19th October 2022 the Council made the abovementioned Order under Sections 1, 4, 9 & 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling Powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows: -
1) The Borough of Warrington (Westy) (Low Traffic Neighbourhood) (Traffic Management Scheme) Experimental Order 2022, is hereby varied or amended as follows: -
(a) By the deletion of Article 10 from the said Order which removes the following restriction:

To prohibit any Motor Vehicle from proceeding along Broadbent Ave (between the western side of Davies Ave & Griffiths St), in any direction other than a westerly direction (east to west).
(b) By the addition of an amended Article 10 to the said Order which includes the following restriction:

To prohibit any Motor Vehicle from proceeding along Reynolds St (between Tinsley St & Davies Ave), in any direction other than an easterly direction (west to east).
(c) By the addition of Article 10 (a) to the said Order which includes the following restriction:

To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding on Davies Ave from making a right hand turn into Reynolds St.
(d) In the Schedule (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) by the deletion from the said Order of the following restrictions: Griffiths St - From a point approx. 5m south east of its jct. with Westy Ln for a distance of 2m in a south easterly direction; Reynolds St - At its jct. on the east side of Tinsley St for a distance of 2m in an easterly direction. The Order will be effective from 3rd November 2022 & will remain in force for a period not exceeding 14 months. The Council will be considering in due course, within the Experimental Order period, whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should continue in force indefinitely. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No.47) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given
that the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 19th October 2022. The effect of the Order is as follows: -
1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:
(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the deletion of: No waiting at any time: Access Road to the rear of the temporary Market Hall (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St, following the kerb lines for a distance of 60m, in a south westerly direction.

(b) In the 71st Schedule by the deletion of: No loading & unloading at any time: Access Road to the rear of the temporary Market Hall (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St, following the kerb lines for a distance of 60m, in a south westerly direction.

(c) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Access Road serving the units of Number 5 & 6, Time Sq (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St for its entire length.

(d) In the 71st Schedule by the addition of: No loading & unloading at any time: Access Road serving the units of Number 5 & 6, Time Sq (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Academy St for its entire length.

(e) In the 65th Schedule by the addition of: Loading & unloading only bays, any time: All that part of the north east kerb line of the Access Road serving the unit of Number 5, Time Sq which is bounded on the north east by so much of that highway as extends from a point approx. 53m north west of its jct. with Academy St for a distance of 15m in a north westerly direction & which has a width throughout of 2.7m - Wholly within the limits of the loading bay & parallel to the kerb.
