Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The Bolton (Public Footpath Turton Bromley Cross 13) (Temporary Closure) (No. ) Order 2022
The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.
The effect which will be operative from 19th November 2022 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath Turton Bromley Cross 13 commencing from Chapeltown Road; point A at grid reference SD 72923 13155 in a generally east south easterly direction to Shady Lane; point B at grid reference SD 72943 13147 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1TBC013 over a total distance of approximately 22 metres.
An alternative route is available commencing from Chapeltown Road; point A at grid reference SD 72923 13155 to Darwen Road, Turton Road then Shady Lane; point B at grid reference SD 72943 13147 as shown by the blue line with arrowheads on the Order plan 1TBC013.
The Order is necessary to facilitate essential rail crossing inspection works, and will continue until 20th November 2022 or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
