Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, Intend, under Its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U71609, Barrack Hill, Little Birch, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71609, Barrack Hill, Little Birch, Barrack Hill. Grid Ref: 350436/232262. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is via C1263 onto the A49 onto Aconbury Lane onto the C1261 from Bogmarsh Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to overhead works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of November 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
