Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70239, Sparrows Lane To Quarry Road, Linton Ross On Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70239, Sparrows Lane To Quarry Road, Linton Ross On Wye, approximately 250 metres from the junction of The Line. Grid Ref: 366894/224126. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Withymoor Pitch onto Sargents Lane, onto Woodend Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to stop tap works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of November 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
