Footpath AX 32/23 (part) in the Parish of Burnham on Sea and Highbridge Public Path Diversion Order, 2021
On The 14th of October 2022 Somerset County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of public footpath AX 32/23 which starts from point A and runs in an easterly and then generally southerly direction for a total distance of approximately 220 metres to point B. To a route which starts from point A and will run in a generally southerly direction for approximately 210 metres to point C and then in a generally easterly direction for approximately 12 metres to point D and then in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 35 metres to point B as shown on the order map H35-2020.

The order comes into force on the 11 of November 2022, but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been compiled with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks of 18th of October 2022, make an application to the High Court.
