The County Council of Durham (Station Approach, Durham) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 14/10/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 65 metres of Station Approach that extends eastward from its junction with North Road, Durham City to enable rail bridge inspection works to be undertaken. There will be no alternative route available for vehicular traffic. Access to/from the station car park will be available from A691 Famwellgate Peth. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 26/10/22 from 11pm and are anticipated to be completed in 7 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
