(Carlibar Road & Ruff lees Avenue, Barrhead) Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road Order 2022

On the 6 October 2022 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Carlibar Road (from its junction with Cross Arthurlie Street up to and including its junction with Commercial Road) & Rufflees Avenue, Barrhead, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing works within or near the road, scheduled to be carried from Monday 31 October until Friday 18 November 2022.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.

Phase 1: Carlibar Road - Dovecothall Street-Crossmill Avenue and Vice Versa, Or Carlibar Road - Stewart Street - Crossmill Avenue And Vice Versa;
Phase 2: Glen Street - Church Road - Main Street - Dovecothall Street and Vice Versa;
Phase 3: Cross Arthurlie Street - Main Street - Dovecothall Street and Vice Versa;
Phase 4: Cross Arthurlie Street - Main Street - Church Road - Glen Street and Vice Versa.
