Temporary Closure Of Public Footpaths MST 13, MCA 17 & MCA 18 (Stonehouse And Cainscross Towns) Stroud District

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) Public Footpath MST 13 from its junction with MST 12 in a generally easterly direction for approximately 3.1 kilometres and then continuing as MCA 17 in a generally easterly direction for 270 metres before continuing as MCA 18 in an easterly direction for 790 metres to its junction with MCA 11.

The Public Footpath falls in the Towns of Stonehouse and Cainscross in the Stroud District and in the County of Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary for the installation of a new gas mains. The Footpaths are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 7th November 2022, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure and restriction is in force. This order can permit the closure of sections of the Footpath in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 7th May 2023. After this date, if the closure is still required, it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time. of approximately 526 metres.
The reason for the closure is for internet service repair.
The road is expected to be closed from the 7th November 2022 until the
11th November 2022 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day only

Temporary Closure Of C197 Buckholt Road (Brimpsfield Parish) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C197 Buckholt Road from its junction with Stroud Road to outside the property known as Saw Mills for a distance of approximately 1043 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out work on a BT overhead structure. The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 on the 25th October 2022 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later.
