THE BRIGHTON & HOVE (SUSSEX COUNTY CRICKET CLUB (SCCC)) - FIREWORKS DISPLAY) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2022
On Saturday, 5 November 2022 or Sunday 6 November 2022 Sussex County Cricket Club will be hosting a Fireworks Display. To facilitate safe passage for pedestrians, certain roads will need to be closed to traffic and therefore Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle that is not participating in, or connected with the SCCC Fireworks Display to proceed in, exit from, or turn into any of the lengths of road specified below, except upon the direction or with the permission of a Police Constable in uniform or that of a uniformed marshal:
1. Temporary Road Closures - Saturday, 5 November 2022 or Sunday 6 November 2022, from 19:00 - 20:30
Eaton Road from junction of Wilbury Road to junction of Salisbury Road.
2. The Order is necessary to allow egress for the Fireworks Display
3. This Order comes into force on Saturday, 5 November 2022, BUT if inclement weather it will be on Sunday, 6 November 2022
