London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(11
(Milner Road. South Wimbledon! (No. 21 (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic! Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works in Milner Road, South Wimbledon, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to continue to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, on the north side of Milner Road, from its junction with Morden Road to the common boundary of Nos. 2b and 2c Milner Road; or
(b) enter of proceed in the footway on the north side of the length of Milner Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Milner Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency.
6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order would come into operation on Thursday 10th November 2022 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed by 31 st December 2022. However, the Order would remain in force for 2 months should further works be required.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
(Portland Road. Mitcham) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate gas trial hole works in Portland Road, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Portland Road, Mitcham, from its junction with Western Road, south-westward for a distance of 10 metres; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in subparagraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to the properties adjacent to road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Lewis Road and Western Road.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 24th October 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will take 12 days to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (Burlington Road And West Barnes Lane. Kt31 (No. 2) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate lifting and inspection works at the northernmost level crossing on West Barnes Lane, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road and prohibit waiting by vehicles in Burlington Road.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in West Barnes Lane, between the eastern kerb-line of Burlington Road and the western kerb-line of Linkway;
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in:-
(i) the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph (a) above;
(ii) West Barnes Lane, both sides, between the northern building wall of No. 50 West Barnes Lanes and its junction with Burlington Road;
(iii) Burlington Road, both sides, between its junction with West Barnes Lane and the Burlington Road Tesco supermarket exit;
(c) enter or proceed on foot in the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. The alternative routes for:-
(a) vehicles affected by the road closure would be via Claremont Avenue and Burlington Road, or vice versa;
(b) pedestrians affected by the road closure would be via the adjacent footbridge.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
7. The Order would come into operation at 11.55pm on Monday 7th November 2022 and remain in force until 5am on Friday 11th November 2022. It is anticipated that the works would be carried out at night from 11.55pm to 5am the following day whilst the Order is in force.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Sections 14(1) (Belvedere Drive. Wimbledon Hill Road And Woodside. SW19) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022
1. Further to the notice advertised in the Wimbledon and Wandsworth Times on 14th July 2022 regarding traffic restrictions in Belvedere Drive, Wimbledon Hill Road and Woodside, SW19 to facilitate public realm improvement works in the said roads, the Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that there have been date changes relating to the closure of Belvedere Drive at its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road.
2. To facilitate the public realm improvement works, Belvedere Drive, from its junction with Wimbledon Hill Road, north-eastward for a distance of 30 metres, is now anticipated to be closed to traffic from Monday 24 October 2022 until Friday 18th November 2022.
3. It is anticipated that the waiting restrictions and parking places suspensions in Belvedere Drive will continue to apply until 31 st December 2022 during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (University Road. Colliers Wood) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, hereby give notice that to facilitate Thames Water works in High Street, Colliers Wood, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in University Road.
2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in University Road, from its junction with High Street, Colliers Wood, north-westward for a distance of 15 metres; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading a vehicle, in trie length of University Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.
3. Any designated parking place, situated in the length of University Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that road or length of road.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the
prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Denison Road, College Road and High Street, Colliers Wood or vice^versa.
7. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into force on Wednesday 26th October 2022 and it is expected that the works will be completed within 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Sections 14(1) And 15(21 (Burlington Road. New Malden) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate redevelopment works adjacent to Burlington Road, they intend to make an Order under sections 14(1) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Burlington Road.
2. During the works no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle proceeding in Burlington Road to enter into the temporary egress road which will lie from the Tesco Car Park across Bridleway No. 49 and through the site of No. 247 Burlington Road to Burlington Road; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Burlington Road the north-west side, from the western kerb-line of the temporary egress road south-westward for a distance of 10 metres.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. The restriction in paragraph 2(a) above would not apply to pedal cycles which would use the cycle contraflow provided.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Wednesday 16th November 2022 and would remain in force until such time as all the relevant works are completed, whereupon it would then be revoked by a further Order made by the Council. It is anticipated that the works would be completed by 16th November 2024.

London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(11
(Queens Road. Mitcham) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic! Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate gutter clearance using a cherry picker and associated works in Queens Road, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Queens Road, Mitcham, the west to east arm, between its junction with Phipps Bridge Road and its easternmost extremity; or
(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Queens Road specified in subparagraph (a) above; or
(c) enter or proceed in Queens Road, Mitcham, the southern footway, from a point 8 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Phipps Bridge Road to its easternmost extremity.
3. Any designated parking place situated on the north side of the west to east arm of Queens Road, from a point 16 metres east of the eastern kerb-line of Phipps Bridge Road eastward for a distance of 36 metres will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Queens Road is a cul-de-sac and a diversion route is not applicable.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring pedestrian or vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or length of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
