PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990,
SECTION 257
ISLE OF WIGHT COUNCIL
PUBLIC FOOTPATH N9 (PART),
PAN LANE, NEWPORT,
ISLE OF WIGHT DIVERSION ORDER No. 1 2022
The above order was made on 10 October 2022. The effect of the order will be to divert a section of public footpath N9 running from: a point adjacent the boundary of Newport Football Ground at Grid Reference 50547 88569 and heading diagonally across a field in a south east direction for approximately 145m to join Pan Lane at Grid Reference 50678 88507; to: from the same point (Grid Reference 50547 88569) heading south for approximately 100m, then heading south south east for approximately 24m to join the adopted multi use footway on the northern side of Godric Road, as shown on the order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Customer Service Centre, County Hall, High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1UD during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and Map may be obtained there free of charge.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Rights of Way Manager, County Hall, High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1UD not later than 11 November 2022. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Isle of Wight Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
