Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Cliffe Lane, Baildon Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works proposed to be executed on or near Cliffe Lane, Baildon intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Cliffe Lane from its junction with Green Lane to its junction with Cliffe Lane South.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will
be available via Cliffe Lane (unaffected section), Cliffe Terrace, Rockcliffe
Avenue, Baildon Road, Otley Road, Green Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 24th
October 2022 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 4th November
2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if
necessary).
