Section 14 - The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Notice Of Traffic Orders For Temporary Road Closures/Restrictions

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make the following temporary orders:

(STR000437 Beech Avenue, Swindon)
This Order is being introduced for Thames Water to carry out sewer cleaning works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Beech Avenue from outside No. 160 up to the junction with Elm Road. Alternative Route - via Beech Avenue, Cheney Manor Road, Whitworth Road, Pinehurst Road, Ferndale Road, Northern Road and vice versa. The Order comes into the force on the 27 November 2022 for 6 months but it expected that works will take place overnight from 22:00 on the 27 November 2022 until 05:30 on the 28 November 2022.

(STR000458 Albert Street and Little London, Swindon)
This Order is being introduced for Wales and West to lay new gas mains and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Albert Street and Little London between the junction with Church Road to outside Albert Street Alternative Route - via Belle Vue Road, Cricklade Street and Wood Street.

The Order comes into the force on the 5 December 2022 for 6 months but it expected that works will take place between 5 to 23 December 2022.

(STR000462 Cricklade Road, Penhill, Swindon)
This Order is being introduced to allow for Thames Water works and will suspend the bus lane on Cricklade Road opposite Property No's 612 & 614 at either side of Grafton Road to allow all traffic. The Order comes into force on the 17 November 2022 for 6 months but it is expected that works are to be carried out between 17 to 26 November 2022.
