NOTICE OF PROPOSAL - (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (VARIOUS ROADS) (CONSOLIDATION) (Amendment No.5) Order, 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, ("the 1984 Act") and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the 1984 Act. The effect of the proposed Order will be as follows:-
1. The Cheshire East Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order, 2022 is hereby further varied or amended as follows:
In schedule AP138 by the deletion oft-Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 9.30am-5pm 1hr No Return Within 2hrs South Street, Alderley Edge (North west side) - from its junction with Brown Street, to its junction with West Street.
George Street, Alderley Edge (North side) - from a point 12.5 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerbline of South Street, for a distance of 44 metres in a south-easterly direction.
Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 9.30am-5pm 2hrs No Return Within 2hrs South Street, Alderley Edge (North west side) - from its junction with George Street, to its junction with West Street.
No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-6pm South Street, Alderley Edge (North west side) - from its junction with Brown Street, to its junction with West Street.
No Waiting At Any Time George Street, Alderley Edge (North side) - from the south-eastern kerb line of South Street, for a distance of 12.5 metres in a south-easterly direction. In schedule AP138 by the addition of:-

South Street, Alderley Edge (North west side) - from a point 100.5 metres south-west of the southern kerb line of West Street, for a distance of 31 metres in a south-westerly direction.
South Street, Alderley Edge (North west side) - from a point 137 metres south-west of the southern kerb line of West Street, for a distance of 22 metres in a south-westerly direction.
