Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U80010, St Owen Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80010, St Owen Street, Hereford, St Owen Street. Grid Ref: 351285/239862. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Gaol Street onto Union Street and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to resurfacing works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th of November 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 18 nights.
