Overnight Temporary Eastbound Closure of Upton Bypass, Upton

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. he Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation at 20:00 on 8 November 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 06:00 on 13 November 2022. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The effect of this order is to impose a temporary road closure on following roads: [i] Upton By Pass, Upton from the slip road leading to Upton Roundabout to the slip road leading to Upton Gateway Roundabout, a distance of approximately 2000 metres (in the eastbound direction). This closure will be in operation overnight between 20:00 until 06:00; [ii] Upton Byass Slip Road, Upton from Upton Roundabout to Upton Bypass, a distance of approximately 300 metres (in the eastbound direction). This closure will be in operation 24 hours a day; [iii] Upton Bypass Slip Road, Upton from Upton Bypass to Upton Gateway Roundabout, a distance of approximately 230 metres (in the eastbound direction). This closure will be in operation 24 hours a day. Locally signed diversion routes will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Temporary Closure of Church Road, Morteon
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Church Road, Moreton from a point 100 metres to the north of Broompound Dairy Farm to a point 30 metres to the east of Gatemore Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 580 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 09:00 until 16:00 on 7 November 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 21 November 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

Temporary Closure of Deep Ford Lane, Chetnole
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along DEEP FORD LANE, CHETNOLE between its junction with Dunch Lane to the Ford, a distance of approximately 25 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 3 October 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 21 October 2022. This Order will enable Shire, safe access for drilling and constructing cantilever buttresses.
An alternative route will be signed using: Back Lane - C93 - Yetminster Road.
