Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The London Borough Of Richmond Upon Thames (Waiting And Loading Restriction) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* Broad Lane Area, Hampton

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames on propose to make the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions operating at any time:-

(a) Around the junctions of Broad Lane and Wensleydale Road;

(b) Around the junctions of Broad Lane and Nightingale Road;'

(c) In Wensleydale Road and the entry to Castle Park.

3. Further details of the proposals: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 22/219, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at

4. Any comments regarding the proposals should be sent within 21 days of the date of this Notice to Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Seymour Road, Hampton Hill
(Reference 22/211)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom pole replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Seymour Road, Hampton Hill.

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed wait or stand in Seymour Road between its junction with Park Road and a point outside No. 2 Seymour Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 24 October 2022. The restrictions will remain in force at all times on 24 October 2022 and 25 October 2022. The order will remain in force for a period of

18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Seymour Road, Burtons Road, Albert Road, Park Road and Seymour Road. The traffic management measures in Burtons Road, between its junctions with Seymour Road and Albert Road, and in Park Road at its junction with Albert Road will be suspended.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 23 Highways Act 1980 - Section 90c Raised Crossing Broad Lane, Hampton

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to install a raised zebra crossing in Broad Lane, Hampton.
The controlled area of the crossing will be sited from a point opposite the eastern kerb-line of Nightingale Road extending for some 49 metres south-westwards. The table will be sited some 5 metres south-west of the western kerb-line of Wensleydale Road, with a length, including ramps of 6 metres. The ramps will have a 1:20 gradient.
A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection for a period of 21 days from the date of this notice, quoting reference 22/219 at: -

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 23 Extension Of Zebra Crossing Control Area Staines Road/The Green, Twickenham (Reference 22/220)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames proposes to extend the controlled area of the zebra crossing in Staines Road/The Green, near First Cross Road.
The extension will be in The Green, adding extending the existing controlled area by 16.3 metres to the east, with the exception of the northern side, where
the bus stop will be retained. A drawing showing the proposed design will be available for public inspection for a period of 21 days from the date of this notice, quoting reference 22/220 at: -

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Percy Road, Hampton (Reference 22/217)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the need to facilitate essential maintenance works on Hampton level crossing they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which is to introduce a road closure in Percy Road, Hampton

2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Percy Road, Hampton between its junctions with Oldfield Road and Ashley Road.

3. Whilst the Hampton Level Crossing in Percy Road is closed an alternative route for traffic will be via Station Road, Tudor Road and Ashley Road.

4. The Order shall come into operation on 15 October 2022 and shall remain in force for 18 months to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 23.30 on 15 October 2022 until 04.00 on 17 October 2022

6. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
