Plevna Road N9 -Temporary Restriction Of Traffic

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Plevna Road N9, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Plevna Road N9) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit traffic from;

(i) entering or proceeding on Plevna Road N9 at its junction with Fore Street;

(ii) one way traffic working westbound on Plevna Road between its junction with and Peel Close and Fore Street, as and when directed by signage.

(iii) waiting & loading on Plevna Road N9 between its junction with Fore Street and Peel Close on both sides of the carriageway, as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions would come into operation on 22 October 2022 and would continue in force for 9 days or until works are completed.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route would be via Fore Street, The Broadway, The Green, Hertford Road, Monmouth Road, St Martin's Road and Plevna Road.
