Ordnance Road EN3 & Newbury Avenue EN3 -Temporary Restriction Of Traffic

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential electricity works on Ordnance Road EN3, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make the Enfield (Ordnance Road EN3) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order would be to;

i.) prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on Ordnance Road EN3 between its junctions with Standard Road EN3 and Newbury Avenue EN3 and;
ii.) prohibit waiting, loading and unloading on Newbury Avenue EN3 from its junction with Ordnance Road EN3 to a point in line with the common boundary of No.3 and No.5 Newbury Avenue EN3, as and when directed by signage.
3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions would come into operation on 22 October 2022 and would continue in force for 9 days or until works are completed.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route would be via A1010 Hertford Road EN3, A1055 Mollison Avenue EN3 (& vice versa).
