The Electricity Act 1989 and the Acquisition of Land (Authorisation Procedure) (Scotland) Act 1947. The SP Transmission pic (Chestnut Avenue) Compulsory Purchase Order 2022.

Notice is hereby given that SP Transmission pic in exercise of the powers conferred by the above mentioned Acts, on 11 October 2022, made the above mentioned Compulsory Purchase Order which affects the land described in Part One of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes connected with the carrying on of the activities which it is authorised by its transmission licence to carry on in respect of the Works (as defined in the Order and repeated subject to necessary changes in Part Two of the Schedule hereto). The Order is about to be submitted to the Scottish Ministers for confirmation and comes into operation only if confirmed.
A copy of the Order and of the Map referred to therein have been deposited at Bishopton Cummunity Library, 11 Greenock Road, Bishopton, PA7 5JW and may be seen there without the payment of fee at the following times:

- Mondays: 9.15am-1pm and 2pm-5pm


- Tuesdays: 9.15am-1pm and 2pm-5pm


- Wednesdays: 9.15am-1pm and 2pm-5pm

- Thursdays: 9.15am-1pm and 2pm-5pm


- Fridays: 9.15am-1pm and 2pm-5pm


- Saturdays: 9.15am-1pm and 2pm-5pm

SCHEDULE

Part One

New rights over the following land:
Land at Chestnut Avenue, Bishopton, Renfrewshire

Part Two
"EDM Project" means the project consisting of:
(One) constructing, operating and maintaining, upgrading and eventually decommissioning a new 132 kilovolt overhead electric line (including wires / conductors and fibre optic cables and all supporting and ancillary structures) between the existing Erskine Substation and existing Devol Moor Substation;
(Two) decommissioning and removal of the existing 132 kilovolt steel tower overhead electric line (including wires / conductors and fibre optic cables and all supporting and ancillary structures) between the existing Erskine Substation and existing Devol Moor Substation; and
(Three) ancillary works.

"Works" means:
(One) the construction, installation, erection, use, keeping, operation, maintenance, repair, renewal, alteration, inspection, retention, modification, relocation, replacement, refurbishment, upgrading, decommissioning and removal of the section of a new 132 kilovolt overhead electric line (including wires / conductors and fibre optic cables) forming part of the EDM Project generally as shown by a solid red line on the Works Plan, including but not limited to the supporting structures, insulators and any support to facilitate a change in angle of the electric line; (Two) the decommissioning and removal of the section of the existing 132 kilovolt overhead electric line (including wires / conductors and fibre optic cables) forming part of the EDM Project generally as shown by a solid black line (but only between Ferry Road and Greenock Road on the Works Plan, including but not limited to the supporting structures, insulators and any support to facilitate a change in angle of the electric line; and (Three) all ancillary developments as shown on the Works Plan forming part of the EDM Project and required on temporary basis to facilitate the above (including but not limited to temporary tracks, working areas, laydown areas and winching / pulling areas); all subject to such reasonable deviations to or deviations from the locations shown on the Works Plan as are required to take account of protected species, adverse ground conditions, deliver additional mitigation or to accede to a minor routeing request from a landowner.
"Works Plan" means the plan signed with reference to the SP Transmission pic (Chestnut Avenue) Compulsory Purchase Order 2022 and marked

"THIS IS THE WORKS PLAN REFERRED TO IN THE SP TRANSMISSION PLC (CHESTNUT AVENUE) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2022"
