North Yorkshire County Council, Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion Order, Highways Act 1980, Public Footpath 25.30/009, Stoneley Woods, Fadmoor, Diversion Order 2022

The above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 was confirmed on the 30/08/22. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the Public Footpath as follows. Public Footpath 25.30/008 from SE 6582 9138 on the access road to Stoneley Woods and runs in a West South West direction to SE 6555 9128, will be diverted on to a new line from SE 6582 9138 on the access road to Stoneley Woods and runs in a north west direction through woodland and then runs in a general south west direction through a field to SE 6555 9128.A copy of the order as confirmed & the Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Pickering Library, The Ropey, Pickering until 23/11/22. The Order comes into force as from the 30/08/22, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 12/10/22, make an application to the High Court.
