Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 The Effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from;-1. Entering or exiting Grasmead Avenue at its junction with London Road

All suspensions will be completed in phases and displays on site will reference what section is under restrictions

4. Fairmead Avenue from its junction with Westborough Road to London Road

5. Fleetwood Avenue from its junction with Westborough Road to London Road

6. Tintern Avenue from its junction with Westborough Road to London Road

7. Electric Avenue from its junction with Westborough Road to London Road

8. Westcliff Park Drive from its junction with Westborough Road to London Road

9 Cotswold Road from its junction with Finchley Road to London Road

10 Elderton Road from its junction with Finchley Road to London Road

11 Valkyrie Road from its junction with Cranley Avenue to London Road

12 Argyll Road from its junction with Anerley Road to London Road

13. Claremont Road from its junction with Claremont Close to London Road

14. Burdett Road from its junction with Hamlet Court Road to London Road

15. Brighten Road from its junction with North Road to London Road

The closure is scheduled to commence from 09:30 on the 17th of October 2022 till 15:30 on the 16th of May 2023 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The alternative route for local traffic will be sign posted on site.

Victoria Avenue (A127), Prince Avenue (A127), Arterial Road (A127) Rayleigh
Road (A129) & London Road (A13)

3.London Road directional closure (Eastbound) - London Road (A13)
Rayleigh Road (A129) Arterial Road (A127) Prince Avenue (A127) Victoria
Avenue (A127) & London Road (A13) The Order will come into effect on 17th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst Fibre Optic works takes place.
Access for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained at al times during the closure.
The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations And General Directions 2016 Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition imposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004
