The proposed development at Proposed Wind Farm Chirmorie C72 From Gowlands Terrace Barrhill To Council Boundary South Of Chirmorrie Barrhill South Ayrshire is subject to environmental impact assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Scotland Regulations 2017. Notice is hereby given that an EIA Report has been submitted to South Ayrshire Council by Chirmorie Wind Farm Ltd relating to the Planning application Ref: 22/00660/FURM in respect of Application under Section 42 of The Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 to vary Condition 36 (time period for carrying out protected species surveys) and to add an additional condition (time period for implementation of consent) notified to you under The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 on 12 August 2022.

The arrangements for public participation in the decision making process are set out in the Council's publication 'Procedures for the Handling of Planning Applications' which is available to view on the Council's website. If there is any subsequent submission of further information by the developer further notice will be published in this newspaper and neighbours will be re-notified and a further 30 day period to make written representations will be allowed.
Possible decisions relating to the application are: (i) approval of the application without conditions; (ii) approval of the application with conditions; (iii) refusal of the application.
