(Footpath Number 16 Sedgefield Parish, Sedgefield) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 30/9/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on 165 metres of Footpath Number 16 that extends south easterly from the fence line adjacent to Eden Drive, Sedgefield to enable housing development works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the southern side of the closure from Saddler Drive northerly and easterly to Stockton Road then north westerly along Stockton Road, westerly along Thurlow Road and southerly onto Eden Drive to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa.

The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 3/10/22 and are anticipated to be required for the maximum duration of 6 months. This may be extended after the 6 month period. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
