(Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.12) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), Section 90(A-F) of The Highways Act 1980, and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996. Effect of the order: To introduce: 'No Stopping Mon-Fri 08:30-09:30 and 14:45-15:45' restrictions on the following lengths of road, in the Borough of Castle Point. Road Description
Third Avenue WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 31.56 metres north of the northern most kerb line of the layby parking area, northwards for a distance of approximately 12 metres.
To Introduce: 'Raised Tables' on the following lengths of road, in the Borough of
Castle Point.
Road Description
Third Avenue BOTH SIDES:
(i) From a point approximately 0.4 metres north of the northernmost kerb line of the layby parking area, northwards.
(ii) From a point approximately 13.5 metres south of the southernmost boundary of no.32 Third Avenue, southwards.
Each Raised Table iscarriageway width, approximately 4.0 metres in length, approximately 75mm in height, and a gradient ramp of approximately 1:15 over a distance of 1.125 metres.
This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting map tiles: TQ780 835 Revision 0 to Revision 1, and TQ780 837 Revision 0 to Revision 1. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 07 October 2022. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford, if so required. Alternatively, documents can be posted to you upon request.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Elder Tree Road & Central Wall Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Elder Tree Road & Central Wall Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 50m south east of the junction with Harvest Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a south easterly direction (southbound only). The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st October 2022 for 2 nights (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (TL003ELDER5 - Next Gen Access Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearing works are undertaken by Next Gen Access Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Central Wall Road, Somnes Avenue, Somnes Avenue Roundabout, Canvey Way Roundabout, Canvey Road, Canvey Road Roundabout North, Canvey Road Roundabout South, Long Road, Furtherwick Road, Knightswick Road. The Order will come into effect on 13th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Lionel Road, Stuart Close, Haron Close, Convent Road, Merlin Court, Beatrice Avenue & Thelma Avenue, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Lionel Road, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from its junction with Furtherwick Road to its junction with Fairlop Avenue a distance of approximately 530m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Stuart Close, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from its junction with Lionel Road for a distance of approximately 105m to its end.
3. To temporarily close that length of Haron Close, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from its junction with Lionel Road for a distance of approximately 50m to its end.
4. To temporarily close that length of Convent Road, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from its junction with Lionel Road to its junction with Long Road a distance of approximately 100m.
5. To temporarily close that length of Merlin Court, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from a point approximately 65m north of its junction with Lionel Road for a distance of approximately 55m to its end.
6. To temporarily close that length of Beatrice Avenue, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from its junction with Lionel Road for a distance of approximately 170m to its end.
7. To temporarily close that length of Thelma Avenue, Canvey Island in the District of Castle Point, from its junction with Waarem Avenue for a distance of approximately 290m to its end.
8. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above lengths of road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, for the duration of the above closures only.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restrictions and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 7th November 2022 for 54 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2328861 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway & footway construction works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Furtherwick Road, Waarden Road, Waarem Avenue, Fairlop Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Hall Lane, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 25m southwest of its junction with Terminus Drive for a distance of approximately 45m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th October 2022 for 1 day (06:00-20:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL733TLL-32-23-301022A - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tarmacking and maintenance works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. No alternative route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 13th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Southfalls Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southfalls Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Point Road to its junction with Approach Road a distance of approximately 15m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st October 2022 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001183047 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Point Road, Park Lane, Leigh Beck Road, Park Avenue, Marine Parade, Southfalls Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th October 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Canewdon Road, Ashingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canewdon Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Ashingdon Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st October 2022 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001174164 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Scotts Hall Road, Apton Hall Road, Brays Lane, Ashingdon Road and vice versa with access only into Lark Hill Road and Canewdon Road. The Order came into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Paycocke Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Paycocke Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with East Mayne for a distance of approximately 55m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M58051 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while meter repair works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water An alternative route is available via Paycocke Road, Honywood Road, Cranes Farm Road, East Mayne and vice versa.

(Station Way, Kingswood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Way, Kingswood in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 30m northeast of its junction with Ashdon Way for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th October 2022 for 1 night (23:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701FSS2-24-17-171022 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Southernhay, Roundacre New Roundabout, Roundacre, Nether Mayne, Fobbing Farm Roundabout, Lee Woottens Lane, Sparrows Herne, Clay Hill Road, Cherrydown East, Station Way and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 29th September 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
