Section 14(1) Of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) Milford Mill Road (Part), Clarendon Park, Laverstock and Ford; from its junction with New Petersfinger Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction to enable Network Rail to carry out railway bridge inspection and associated works. Alternative route via Petersfinger Road - A36 - Wain a Long Road - Bourne Avenue - Laverstock Road - Manor Farm Road - Milford Mill Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 31 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. For further information please contact Capital Traffic.

B) A30 (Part), Salisbury, Laverstock and Ford; for a distance of approximately 40m either side of the railway bridge to enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd to carry out railway inspection and associated works. Alternative route via A30 (unaffected length) - A36 - A345 - A303 - A338 - A30 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 01 November 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00 for 1 night. C) C25 (Part), Tisbury; from outside its property known as The Gables to outside its property known as Primose Cottage to enable BT to carry out replace pole and associated works. Alternative route via C25 (unaffected length) - C43 -Windlestraw Lane - Hatch Lane - Tuckingmill Lane - Vicarage Road - C25 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 14 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. D) Odstock Road (Part), Odstock and Britford; from its junction with C12 for a distance of approximately 1.1km in a norther easterly direction to enable BT to carry out access to telecoms equipment in carriageway for customer service and associated works. Alternative route via Odstock Road (unaffected length) - Homington Road - A354 - Odstock Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 for 1 night. E) Lower Road (Part), Wilton and Quidhampton; from its junction with A3094 for a distance of approximately 800m in an easterly direction.

F) Skew Road (Part), Quidhampton; from its junction with Lower Road for a distance of approximately 95m in an easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out highway drainage survey and associated works. Alternative route via A36 - A3094 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 October 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:30 and 18:00 until 18 October 2022.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
