Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1136, Woodend LaneC1136, Stanford Bishop, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1136, Woodend Lane C1136, Stanford Bishop, from Silverwood House to the junction with the B4220. Grid Ref: 369121 / 252642. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1137 onto the B4220 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to pot relocation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th of November 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
