The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Village Road, Chenies) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Village Road for 297 metres. Alternative route: Village Road, Claypits Lane, Amersham Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst an installation of new 11kv High Voltage electricity cables take place commencing on 10 October 2022 between 00:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 October 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Mill Lane, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Mill Lane for 27 metres. Alternative route: Dodds Lane, Bottrells Lane, Mill Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a repair of a valve takes place commencing on 15 October 2022 between 09:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 October 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
