(Lincoln Road and Lincoln Place, Moorside, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 10 metres of Lincoln Road that extends westward from its junction with Rutland Road, and also 15 metres of Lincoln Place that extends southwards from its junction with Lincoln Road, Moorside, Consett to enable telecom duct and cable renewal works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic via local roads of Rutland Road, Derby Crescent and Lincoln Place and Lincoln Road. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 24/10/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 10 working days. On occasions, alternative dates For closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
