DOUBLE YELLOW LINE WAITING RESTRICTIONS - CRESCENT ROAD, KINGSTON (TMO - KINGMAP0060)
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames made the following Orders on 3 October 2022 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
(a) The Kingston upon Thames (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. 71) Order 2022
(b) The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 71) Order 2022 and
2. The general effect of the Orders will in Crescent Road, Kingston introduce the following:-
(a) 'at any time' double yellow line waiting restrictions outside Nos. 31 to 37 in place of existing single yellow line, a permit holder parking bay and a length of shared use permit and pay and display parking bay; and
(b) Remove a length of double yellow line waiting restrictions opposite No. 35A where an access road is being created.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 10 October 2022 and, the Council's Statement of Reason for making the Orders and map tiles showing the location and the effects of the Orders can be inspected as follows:-
(a) online at www.kingston.gov.uk/unmade-traffic-management-orders;
(b) at Council libraries;
(c) The Information and Advice Centre, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive; and
(d) copies of the made Orders and plans can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am. and 5pm. Mondays to Fridays; or
(e) emailing TMO@kingston.gov.uk (please quote ref. KingMap0060 - Crescent Road).
The made documents will be available until 14 November 2022.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 14 November 2022.
