(Church Bank, Shotley Bridge) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 30/9/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 370 metre full length of Church Bank between its junctions with Benfieldside Road and Front Street/Burnmill Bank, Shotley Bridge to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the eastern side of the closure from Benfieldside Road then south westerly on B6310 Snows Green Road to the western side of the closure. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 8/10/22 from 7am to 7pm daily the duration of the works anticipated to be 3 days (Saturday, Monday and Tuesday). On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
