(Ornsby Hill, Lanchester) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 30/9/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 125 metres of Ornsby Hill, from its junction with Howden Bank to the road adjacent to number 8 Ornsby Hill, Lanchester to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Throughout the period of closure, a diversion will not be available. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 12/10/22 from 9am and are anticipated to be completed in 1 day. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
