(Thorndale Road, Belmont) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 580 metres of Thorndale Road that extends in an easterly, north easterly then northerly direction between Its junctions with The Links and Dinsdale Drive, Belmont to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south western side of the closure from The Links north then turning east onto Brackendale Road, continuing north east and turning south onto Thorndale Road leading to the north eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 24/10/22 from 7am to 7pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Access to/egress from cul-de-sacs within the closure parameters will be permitted at Works Manager discretion.
