The County Council of Durham (Ascot Place and Conway Place, Perkinsville) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 3/10/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on the following lengths of footpath/ footway in Perkinsville: Conway Place - 17 metres along the northern gable of number 7; 16 metres along the northern gable of number 10 and 54 metres between numbers 16 (east side) to 55 (north side) Ascot Place / Courtney Drive - a 45 metre length to the rear of numbers 10-18 Ascot Place to enable gas main replacement works to be undertaken. Alternative routes available via local footpaths and footways. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 11/10/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 15 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
