Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Chelford Road, Chorley

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - Chelford Road, Chorley -From the junction of Foden Lane to outside Alderley Edge Cemetery
The alternative route will be via Chelford Road, Sossmoss Lane, Alderley Road, Congleton Road, Frog Lane Roundabout, Melrose Way, Harden Park Roundabout, Wilmslow Road, Horseshoe Lane, Ryleys Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. This order will come into operation on Monday 24 October 2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 2 December 2022. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Temporary Restriction Of Users -

Restricted Byway No. 22 Wilmslow

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on:
That length of Restricted Byway No. 22 Wilmslow which commences at SJ 8340 8304 and runs in a generally easterly direction for approximately 90m to SJ 8348 8305. The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger while works are taking place on or near the footpaths. The Order came in to force on the 29 September 2022 and will continue in force for a period from that date for six months or until the works are complete. An alternative route is available.
