PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO NORTHUMBERLAND PARK WEST CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 30th September 2022 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) amend the Northumberland Park West Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) operating hours for event days to be Mon-Fri 8am to 8.30pm and Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays 12 noon to 8pm on Academia Way N17, Bradford Close N17, Castleford Close N17, College Park Road N17, College Road N17, Commercial Road N17, Durban Road N17, Hebden Terrace N17, Pretoria Road N17, Princes Street N17, Queen Street N17, White Hart Lane N17. No changes to be made to the operating hours on non event days which continue to operate Mon-Fri 8am-8pm.

(b) amend the operating times of the single yellow line for event days to be Mon-Fri 8am to 8.30pm and Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays 12 noon to 8pm and the permit holders parking bay to be Mon-Fri 8am to 8pm on the following roads 1) Pretoria Road - EAST SIDE from the southern boundary of No.1a, north for 86 metres. 2) White Hart Lane - WEST SIDE from a point opposite the shared boundary of No.98/No.100 north west for 62.3 metres. 3) White Hart Lane - SOUTH SIDE from the shared property boundary of No.126/No.128 west for 24 metres. 4) White Hart Lane - SOUTH SIDE from 11.6 metres east of the shared property boundary of No.126/No.128 east for 29 metres.

(c) amend the operating times of the single yellow line for event days to be Mon-Fri 8am to 8.30pm and Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays 12 noon to 8pm and the pay by phone parking bay to be Mon-Fri 8am to 8pm on Pretoria Road N17 opposite No.1 to No.4 and White Hall Lane N17 outside Somerset Hall opposite Haringey Sixth Form.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 6th October 2022.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
