The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North East) (No.26) Order 2022" authorising the stopping up of a part width of the unnamed highway adjoining no.10 Burn Foot (Station House) at St Johns Chapel, Bishop Auckland, in the County of Durham to enable development as permitted by Durham County Council under reference DM/22/00909/FPA.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or

nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk

(quoting NATTRAN/NE/S247/5089). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Durham County Council, County Hall, Aykley Heads, Durham, DH1 5UQ.

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 5 October 2022 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
